The company was founded in 1995 in Bologna from the founders’ passion for chemistry and pharmacology, art, culture and design. Today the operational headquarters is located in the Bologna hinterland on a total area of 1,200 square meters. The production plant is equipped with an R&D center (Research and Development) and a production analytical control laboratory, closely in contact with QC (Quality Control). The QC laboratory follows and monitors each stage of the production process.

Over the years, the Company’s founders have accumulated extensive
experience as technical managers for major cosmetic companies and as lecturers in pharmaceutical techniques.

Philosophy
RF Cosmetici is an Italian company specialized in R&D, formulation and “private label” contract manufacturing of dermocosmetic products and medical devices.
Much more than a production laboratory, it is a cosmetic hub whose divisions cover 360° all aspects that extend around the design of a dermocosmetic line. The founders’ experiences gained through the Technical Management of cosmetic names in a wide variety of fields-from soaps to dermatological products to hair dyes-and educational experience in the field of pharmaceutical technology, together with a personal analysis of custom and society have enabled RF Cosmetics to be able to have a comprehensive view of an industry that is in constant interaction with a changing and iridescent society.

- We have limited the amount of biocides for sanitizing the environment by using ozone generators
- We use raw materials based on renewable sources and produced by eco-efficient processes that run completely on renewable energy
- We source from raw material producers operating locally
- Raw materials obtained from Upcycling are the ones we love the most in the formulation of cosmetic products
- We use vegetable-based emulsifiers and fats, RSPO (which guarantees sustainable palm oil through global certification standards) and Mass Balance
